Rusty Brown (Pantheon) is a major graphic novel event more than 16 years in the making: part one of the ongoing bifurcated masterwork from Chris Ware, the brilliant and beloved author of Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth and Building Stories. Cartoonist Lynda Barry (Cruddy) believes everyone and anyone can be creative. At the core of her new book, Making Comics (Drawn & Quarterly), is her certainty that creativity is vital to processing the world around us.
