Gen·e·sis: an origin, creation, or beginning. Eight diverse local artists have created work reflecting on what genesis means to them. The pieces run the gamut from epic digital drawings to abstract encaustics, incorporating reflections on Ursula K. Le Guin, climate change, and the natural world. “Genesis” features work by Aremy Stewart, Consu Tolosa, Janet Julian, Kayla Carlson, Monika Kralicek, Shannon Carlson, Sharon Jonquil, and Steve Klinkel.
