Free Comic Book Day TFAW Portland!

FreeCome celebrate Free Comic Book Day with your friends at Things From Another World Portland! The doors open promptly at 9am on May 4, 2019!
Everyone visiting will be allowed to select up to TEN free specially-marked comics — we’re one of the only comic shops in the Pacific Northwest to let you get that many comics!
In addition, we’ll be running some great sales for one day only:
– All items in-store will be 20-50% off*
– All $10.99 priced Funko Pop figures will be on sale for $8
– Every FCBD purchase will receive a 25% off one graphic novel coupon (limit one per customer)
– Box customers receive a coupon for $5 off their purchase of $25 or more, usable on May 4th, 2019 only! These coupons are in your box now!
In addition to sales and free comics, we’ve got free events for the whole family!
– Balloon artists and other kid-friendly activities from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
– Ron Chan (Plants Vs. Zombies), Paul Tobin (Plants Vs. Zombies), Steve Lieber (Jimmy Olsen), and Cat Farris (My Boyfriend is a Bear) signing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.!
– Rob Sheridan (art director for Nine Inch Nails, co-founder of How to Destroy Angels, and writer of DC/Vertigo’s HIGH LEVEL) will be signing from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.!
And just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be more, join us for free pizza, hanging out, and playing games from 5 p.m. to close. Swap free comics with others, learn where to start if you’re a new reader, and win some fun prizes!
