We are against hate which targets continually marginalized people, no matter if they are Asian, Asian-American, Pacific Islanders, Black, Indigenous, people of color, and LGBTQ+ identifying. We support movements for reform, protest, and equality. A collection of resources and organizations working toward these efforts, and those which offer support, can be found here.
We will continue to amplify marginalized voices, and welcome all, their ideas, their events, and their words. Our words here are not enough, but we wanted to say we support you and will continue to do so through our actions.
An additional list of support and relief funds can be found here.

Moving Here As Love: Making A Collaborative Zine About Becoming Love
June 21 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pmFree
A Zine Workshop For You and Your Art Buddy About Becoming Love
In this class we will work together to make a zine about how to become love. What *is* love? How would “becoming love change” the way we move about this planet? Love without condition, without judgement. Love beyond even the concept of love, moving inside and as this love. We will work on a page or more while hanging out and then a quick tutorial on how to put all the pieces together, demonstrating Jesse’s method and touching on a couple of others (for fun).
Jesse will put all the pages together and make a cool little book and give participants access to it to share with friends and loved ones.
Materials Needed: 1-3 sheets of white 8.5″ x 11″ paper, your preferred drawing tools/collage supplies. Contact email@example.com at least a week ahead of the workshop if you need some supplies.

Digital Adventures with Sunday Parkways & the IPRC!
This workshop is part of Portland Sunday Parkways schedule of Digital Adventures as a part of their “Choose Your Own Portland Adventure” summer programming. The IPRC is excited to partner with them for 6 months of free & by-donation workshops that center around the theme of love and resilience. Join us for a series of virtual programs that explore our relationships with the places, communities, and people we love, and how a variety of different creative practices can help us develop strength & self-love, and have fun making!
The 6 months will culminate in making a community zine! Each workshop will include inspiration to get you started, but whether you join us for them or not, we invite you to submit a zine page at any time during the project by emailing a digital copy to firstname.lastname@example.org or mailing your work to 318 SE Main Street, Suite 155 Portland, OR 97214. ** The final submission deadline is September 30th, 2021. All participants will receive a digital and/or physical copy of the zine and will be invited to an online launch event in October. **
