We will have a feature from Ryan Boyland!

More about Ryan:
Ryan Boyland is a writer and wanderer currently based out of Omaha, Nebraska. After he studied neurobiology and astrophysics in college, his love for both science and poetry motivated him to combine the two at every opportunity. His goal through his performance is to touch minds and hearts around the world, and considers it a victory every time he is able to do so.

Despite being relatively new to the world of slam, Ryan nonetheless has begun to leave his mark on the stages he graces, earning a spot on the Omaha National Poetry Slam (NPS) team, as well as winning the opportunity to represent the city of Omaha on the international level at the Individual World Poetry Slam, both in 2018, his first year of eligibility. His work can be found on SoundCloud, Facebook, and YouTube.

We will be at our venue, Tiny’s Coffee Northeast! This means our show is all-ages! Everyone is welcome. We do not censor our mic except for instances of hate-speech. Please also note that we start a little earlier then at previous venues.

Accessibility info: Tiny’s is on the 6 bus line, which is a frequent service line. It is a quarter mile from the the streetcar line and about a half mile away from the max. The building and stage is wheelchair accessible and most of the seating can be moved to create space for accessibility equipment. The venue serves food and coffee, so it is not scent-free.
