Read The Oregon Trail: A New American Journey by Rinker Buck. Traveling from Missouri to Baker City, Oregon, over the course of four months, Buck is accompanied by three cantankerous mules, his boisterous brother, Nick, and a Jack Russell terrier named Olive Oyl.
