Carnival is a season; Mardi Gras is a day. Join former New Orleanian Deborah DeMoss Smith in celebrating this 300-year Crescent City tradition. From masking, krewes, balls, parades, throws, flambeaux carriers, the iconic Mardi Gras Indians and classic holiday tunes, get to know the story of Carnival and Mardi Gras.
