We stand with Black Lives Matter and those protesting for equality and reform. We will continue to amplify marginalized voices, and welcome all, their ideas, their events, and their words. Our words here are not enough, but we wanted to say we support you and will continue to do so through our actions.
For the list of support and relief funds previously posted here see this blog post.

PSG !EXTRA NIGHT TERRORS: Strange Encounters with the Other Side
October 17 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm$10
Why do the dead come back? No one is really sure, but there are clues. You are cordially to an evening of ghost stories. Hear accounts of a haunted trailer in Greshem; of a state park in Hawaii, where no one dares spend the night; and of an old boarding house on Cape Cod, where a former lodger says that he was kissed by a ghost. Join storyteller, Alton Takiyama-Chung, for these and other stories, which may give you a little shiver and shed some light on the question of what may happen to us after we shuffle off the mortal coil.
Japanese-Korean storyteller Alton Takiyama-Chung, grew up with the superstitions and the magic of the Hawaiian Islands. He tells stories of Hawaii, of the Japanese-American experience of WWII, and Asian folktales, and has performed at the Timpanogas and the National Storytelling Festivals, and at international storytelling festivals in the Cayman Islands, Singapore, India, Vietnam, and Thailand. He also is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors for National Storytelling Network.
Join the Portland Storytellers’ Guild for this !EXTRA performance – from the comfort of your home. Just $10 per log in and as many can watch as your social distancing pace will permit. Saturday October 17 at 5:00 pm (note the start time!). Click here for tickets. We look forward to having you join us for this special evening.
