We are against hate which targets continually marginalized people, no matter if they are Asian, Asian-American, Pacific Islanders, Black, Indigenous, people of color, and LGBTQ+ identifying. We support movements for reform, protest, and equality. A collection of resources and organizations working toward these efforts, and those which offer support, can be found here.

We will continue to amplify marginalized voices, and welcome all, their ideas, their events, and their words. Our words here are not enough, but we wanted to say we support you and will continue to do so through our actions.

An additional list of support and relief funds can be found here.

Romance Book Club (Remote)

March 4 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

$15 – $25
Online, N/A, Portland, OR 97207

Our book discussions aim to bring people together to talk about books in a safe and inviting atmosphere. Our meetings are lovely and inclusive; we invite you to attend. Come and enjoy a lively discussion about the chosen book with other readers.

Join us on March 4th 6:30pm for our Romance Book Club.

We will discuss Spoiler Alert by Olivia Dade

About the book:

Marcus Caster-Rupp has a secret: while the world knows him as Aeneas, the star of the biggest show on TV, he’s known to fanfiction readers as an anonymous and popular poster. Marcus is able to get out his own frustrations with his character through his stories, especially the ones that feature the Internet’s favorite couple, Aeneas and Lavinia. April Whittier has secrets of her own. A hardcore Lavinia fan, she’s hidden her fanfiction and cosplay hobby from her “real life” for years, but not anymore. When she decides to post her latest Lavinia creation on Twitter, her photo goes viral. Trolls and supporters alike are commenting on her plus-size take, but then Marcus, one half of her OTP, sees her pic and asks her out.

TO ATTEND:

1) Purchase the book club book to support our shop. If you already own the book you may purchase a gift certificate or sponsor a stack for $15 or $25 dollars depending on if the book club book is paperback or hardcover.

2) Email us after your purchase that you plan on attending and we’ll supply the password.
