We are against hate which targets continually marginalized people, no matter if they are Asian, Asian-American, Pacific Islanders, Black, Indigenous, people of color, and LGBTQ+ identifying. We support movements for reform, protest, and equality. A collection of resources and organizations working toward these efforts, and those which offer support, can be found here.
We will continue to amplify marginalized voices, and welcome all, their ideas, their events, and their words. Our words here are not enough, but we wanted to say we support you and will continue to do so through our actions.
An additional list of support and relief funds can be found here.

Telltale at the Tower Presents: We Are Infinite.
September 4 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pmFree
Hey, champ! Thanks for checking out Telltale. We are a monthly curated storytelling event for people that like to get vulnerable and take no shit. We are keen on connection, laughter, heartbreak, poignant moments, and community building. We are in our fifth season now, which is wild.
After a number of zoom shows…. WE ARE BACK, PAL! With an all vaccinated staff, we will be doing a series of summer shows outside of our old venue, Chapel Theatre. I said we’d do these shows until things stopped making me mad…. and well…. apparently there’s an endless series of things to be angry at in this country.
At Telltale, you can expect about 7-10 performers sharing something with you, in the way that feels right to them–so there will be a mix of comedy, stories, music, essays, and more. Your evening will likely include honesty, swear words, enthusiasm, resistance, dark humor, connection….a
Also–there will be a very good raffle.
This month’s theme is “We Are Infinite.” Because I’m trying to focus on all the beauty that exists among the garbage of these last years. Maybe you have trouble waiting too. Performers will use that theme in their story in some way, or will at least be inspired by it somehow.
Please note that this is a different location than usual!
Location: The Tower at 3307 SE 7th. This is a backyard party situation! Please bring your own blankets/
Date: September 4th.
Yard opens at 7
Tickets: We are posting a ticket link. Since this is a garden party that’s part of a series of shows, many people will be attending for free/just wandering in. If you want to buy a ticket online, that money will be evenly split between the performers, but you can pay what you can. If you still wanted to pay the usual suggestion of $10? Awesome. If you want to pay a dollar? Great. If you want to just show up and not RSVP? Fine. Whatever works for you. There will also be the option to donate while you’re there! Ultimately, capitalism is garbage and we want you there regardless of money.
If you are unable to make it to the show in person, we will also be live-streaming it, so you can still participate from New York or Alaska or your bed here in town. Buy a regular ticket and we will send out a zoom link to everyone!
Raffle Money will go towards keeping the show alive–buying merch, buying raffle prizes from local companies, paying for the website, etc.
The space: This is a backyard garden party. There will be beer and bubbly water available for donation (cash or venmo, but cash for tips is always great.) Bathrooms will exist but minimally. Please bring your own chairs/
Also, we have no room for any oppressive garbage. So there’s that.
I think that covers it. I’ll see you there. I think you’re very cool and the event will be better with you there. I miss your damn face.
