We are against hate which targets continually marginalized people, no matter if they are Asian, Asian-American, Pacific Islanders, Black, Indigenous, people of color, and LGBTQ+ identifying. We support movements for reform, protest, and equality. A collection of resources and organizations working toward these efforts, and those which offer support, can be found here.
We will continue to amplify marginalized voices, and welcome all, their ideas, their events, and their words. Our words here are not enough, but we wanted to say we support you and will continue to do so through our actions.
An additional list of support and relief funds can be found here.

WRITING & THE BODY: SUMMER II, 2020, July 30 – August 2
July 30, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm$995
Jennifer Pastiloff and Lidia Yuknavitch are now running their infamous workshop four times a year! Lucky for us since this workshop has been selling out a year in advance for a while now. Jenn & Lidia are both renowned in their fields in their own right, and both of them are known for their inventive, non-traditional methods. Together they lead you to your most creative place by tapping into your body first, and then picking up the pen. But don’t worry! You do not have to be a published or experienced writer or yogi- we are looking for people who have heart. You have a desire to write? You have a body? Then this weekend is for you.

The Corporeal Center houses all of Corporeal Writing’s Face2Face workshops, readings, and open community hours Tues through Friday, 12 – 4. We are located in a beautiful historic building in downtown Portland. We are on bus lines, close to the Max line that goes to the airport as well as the Amtrak station. We are within walking distance to many hotels, some of our favorites being The Society Hotel ($), Embassy Suites ($$), Hotel Monaco ($$) and The Nines ($$$). With a bar, delicious burger joint, fresh salad bar in our building, a food truck lot out the front door, and Pine Street Market only a 3 block walk, food options abound.
