We are against hate which targets continually marginalized people, no matter if they are Asian, Asian-American, Pacific Islanders, Black, Indigenous, people of color, and LGBTQ+ identifying. We support movements for reform, protest, and equality. A collection of resources and organizations working toward these efforts, and those which offer support, can be found here.

We will continue to amplify marginalized voices, and welcome all, their ideas, their events, and their words. Our words here are not enough, but we wanted to say we support you and will continue to do so through our actions.

An additional list of support and relief funds can be found here.

Online, N/A
Portland, OR 97207
$290

From Hemingway’s Moveable Feast to Thoreau’s meditation on “Walking” to Virginia Woolf’s “Street Haunting” to Rebecca Solnit’s Wanderlust, writers have connected the act of writing with the art of roaming. During this weekend together, we will spend some time reading poems and personal meditations on walking, and use them as prompts for our own writing. By the end of the weekend you will have a draft that includes memories of roaming, accounts of current saunters, quotes from other wanderers, and even some research perhaps — all braided into a lyric essay. Access Program We want our writing classes to be accessible to everyone, regardless of income and background. We understand that our tuition structure can present obstacles for some people. Our Access Program offers writing…

In person. On the first day, Lidia and the entire Corporeal Squad will each run you through some portals around writing with time disruptions, and on the second day Lidia and Domi will throw some mean on it, get down to it, show you four strategies for why, when, and how to write against the grain of linear time. We'll eyeball some great examples, too. Participants will walk away with works in…
