Dough: Art and Poetry

1122 Gallery 1122 SE 88th Ave, Portland, OR, United States

Please join us at 1122 Gallery for a poetry reading and the opening of Dough, by Los Angeles artist Stacy Elaine Dacheux. Dacheux's drawings investigate simple processes: small gestures which awaken the power of aesthetics. Her films sweep these illustrations into live-action performances mirroring imagery and quotes from other artists to develop a personal multigenre narrative. At 1122, she will screen her latest Super 8 film. Readers include Cynthia Arrieu-King, Carmiel Banasky, Adrienne Walser, Melissa Benham, Liz Greenhill, Lily Landers, and Richard Froude.
