Oregon Literary Fellowship Application Deadline

Apply online for 2023 Oregon Literary Fellowships. Deadline to apply is Friday, August 5, 2022. Literary Arts will award 12 fellowships in the amount of $3,500. One of these fellowships is specifically for a writer of color. Three of these fellowships are funded by the Oregon Arts Commission. Applicants submit an application form, any addendums for specifically named fellowships, and a writing sample, as outlined in the guidelines. Literary Arts will also award two Career fellowships of $10,000 each. One of the career fellowships is specifically for a writer of color

Submission Deadline: 2022 Oregon Literary Fellowships

Oregon Literary Fellowships are intended to help Oregon writers initiate, develop, or complete literary projects in poetry, fiction, literary nonfiction, drama (including scripts for television and film), and young readers literature. For 2022, Literary Arts will accept applications online only. Submission Deadline: 2021 Bitch Media Fellowships for Writers

We’re pleased to announce that the 2021 Bitch Media Fellowships for Writers applications are now open! A series of three-month intensive writing fellowships, the goal is to develop, support, and amplify emerging voices in feminist media. All fellows will work under the guidance of Bitch cofounder Andi Zeisler. This fellowship was created in order to cultivate and amplify new voices. If you are a writer who has minimal publication experience, we strongly encourage you to apply. Submission Deadline: Oregon Literary Fellowship

Offering a variety of awards for work in the genres of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, young readers, drama, and publishing. Eleven fellowships carry the award of $3,500, while two will be for $10,000. Must be a current, full-time resident of Oregon. Poetry: 15 typed pages of poetry, one poem per page. Prose: No more than 25 pages double-spaced. Drama: No more than 25 pages. Synopsis pages are allowed but count towards page count. See their website for additional details.
