FROM KNOWLEDGE TO POWER Launch Party

We’re hosting a party to celebrate the launch of FROM KNOWLEDGE TO POWER by John Perona! Join us in celebrating K2P’s release with food, drinks, and by spending the evening with other climate advocates. The launch party will include a discussion between author John Perona and climate advocate and actress K.B. Mercer, a brief talk by John Perona about several of his favorite chapters from the book, and an author signing with Q&A. Mark your calendars, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

SFWA Portland Publishing Happy Hour – May 2019

All PDX publishing folks are welcome! You do not need to be a SFWA Member to attend. This is a purely social event with no formal agenda but great opportunities to meet people. A pizza and salad buffet will be provided; you buy your own drinks. Your $15 registration fee helps us pay for the room rental, and supports SFWA! YOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND. Please spread the word! Join us offsite during #AWP2019 for a BreakBeat Poets feature, with readings by Camonghne Felix, Britteney Black Rose Kapri, José Olivarez, Fatimah Asghar, Safia Elhillo, and other special guests. She received an MA in arts politics from NYU, an MFA from Bard College, and has received fellowships from Cave Canem, Callaloo, and Poets House.
