Let’s erase the stigma of sex being a forbidden topic of conversation! Normalization has always been a goal at The Mystery Box show. This elegant dinner party takes it one step further by allowing and ENCOURAGING sex talk at the dinner table! First Thursday: Travelogue 2012-2016

Armed with various cameras, multimedia artist Robert Porte spent four years exploring the highways and byways of Oregon’s coastal regions and Portland’s city streets. Porte paired each camera with films specific to each camera’s unique character in order to best capture what he sees – resulting in images that feel like lone highway markers or cairns.

Cut & Paste

Cut & Paste is a phrase that represents work that is created primarily through collage, or the cutting and attaching together of various pieces to make a new image. Usually, this includes visuals and words on paper, layered to create a new meaning. It can include layers that are created through digital processes as well, in addition to the classic assembly method. We have selected a group of local artists from the Vancouver/Portland area, to bring together a variety of styles and work for this show. The Portland Storytellers’ Guild invites you to join us at the Multnomah Arts Center (Room 30 – parking available behind building) for a Story Swap and Potluck beginning at 6:30PM.
