Stage Presents: Hosting & Performance Workshop

STAGE PRESENTS: HOSTING AND PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
TARGET
To break the spell and fears of stage presence for those curious about developing an on stage persona with a specific focus on organizing, emceeing and hosting events.
SCHEDULE
30 minutes: We will discuss our personal stage experiences and an assess where public speaking, professional stage presence and emcee skills have been beneficial in everyday life.
45 minutes: We will walk through a variety of performative exercises and microphone practices with a focus on banter and comfort.
CONCLUSION
15 minutes: Questions, advice and dialogue.
