Tech Support: A Zine Workshop & Peer Support Group for Phone Users

$15 – $25In this four-part zine workshop meets peer support group, we will gather with the intention to cultivate both community and creative consciousness around the complex presence that smartphones have in our lives. Each meeting will include space for sharing, followed by conversation to develop ideas for a cumulative collaborative Tech Support zine. The zine may include drawings, writings, poems, prompts, experiments, photos, etc which reflect the unique relationships and experiences that we have with our phones. Participants can expect weekly email offerings with questions, prompts and themes to support their processes, to be used if desired.

About the Instructor: Erika Dedini (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Science in Art Practices from Portland State University. She has nearly completed a two-year training program in mindful somatic therapy from Mindful Experiential Therapy Approaches. Her multimedia creative practices are grounded in daily writing and drawing, and center around themes of healing, embodiment, nature, humor, trust, interconnection, synchronicity and being.
