Comedy vs. Tragedy #12

Comedy vs. Tragedy is a variety competition show in Portland, Oregon. NovaPDX has produced the show since September 2017. 3 Poets, 3 Musicians and 3 Comedians vie for audience applause and a spot in the final ‘money’ round of the show. In the final round the audience decides whether a poet, a musician or a comedian wins the show. All finalists walk away with cash prizes, but the winner gets 1 hour of recording time with Shady Pines Media and gets to come back to the show and be a feature performer.

Plus a featured performance and a raffle!

ROUND ONE – NINE PERFORMERS
Three poets will perform one piece in their round. Then the audience will select their favorite performance by applause and that poet will advance to the final round. Then three comedians will perform and the audience will select one to advance. Then three musicians will perform and the audience will select one of them to join the poet and the comedian in the final round.

The winning poet, musician and comedian will each perform in random order. The audience will choose the winner by applause.Winner receives a cash prize and a future headline spot at a future Nova Productions show.
