Front Porch Sessions: “Spring Forward”

$10Julia Ramos is a Portland stand-up comic who has made her mark by leaving no issue in her life off limits. She’s been invited to perform at the All Jane Comedy Festival, The Northwest Women’s Comedy Festival and is a co-host for Minority Retort, a showcase in Portland highlighting the talents of local and distant comedians of color. Julia’s main goal is to keep the conversation open on topics that aren’t always easy to discuss. She feels a solid punchline is the best way to fuel that conversation.
Lianne Saffer is a Mom, wife, fitness instructor, hairstylist, and a Jack of some trades. She has lived a few people’s lifetimes in the last few years and believes that optimism has kept her afloat. She’s stubborn, short, witty, fearless, a terrible sleeper, can cook a wicked chili and will do anything to make you smile.
Katie Nguyen is a stand-up comic, improviser, writer, actor, and storyteller. Her writing has been featured in The New Yorker and she has performed on comedy festivals across the country. Katie is an instructor at Deep End Theater, she hosts the weekly show Earthquake Hurricane, and has twice been named one of the Portland Mercury’s Geniuses of Comedy.
