Come to the shop on Friday, May 31 at 7 pm to celebrate the launch of This Will Destroy You, a new novel by Pedram Navab. With special guest Janice Lee. 

Pedram Navab is a neurologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine who currently resides in Los Angeles. Educated at Brown and Stanford, he holds both a graduate degree in English/Modern Culture and Media and a JD. His debut novel, Without Anesthesia, was published in 2015 (Jaded Ibis). In his spare time, he acts and makes short films.

Janice Lee is the author of KEROTAKIS (Dog Horn Press, 2010), Daughter (Jaded Ibis, 2011), Damnation (Penny-Ante Editions, 2013), Reconsolidation (Penny-Ante Editions, 2015), and The Sky Isn’t Blue (Civil Coping Mechanisms, 2016). She writes about the filmic long take, slowness, interspecies communication, the apocalypse, and asks the question, how do we hold space open while maintaining intimacy? She is Founder & Executive Editor of Entropy, Co-Publisher at Civil Coping Mechanisms, Contributing Editor at Fanzine, and Co-Founder of The Accomplices LLC.
