PHIL MEEHAN has worked for 40 years as a chef in the Portland area. He retired in 2015 and spends his time writing, dancing and watching the city change with every season. His chapbook 2016 Beached was based on photographs left by his uncle. It celebrates life on the Oregon Coast during the 1910’s.
PENELOPE SCAMBLY SCHOTT’S most recent book is November Quilt. She is known to hang out on the east side of Mount Hood where she climbs Dufur Hill for a wide view of the world.
BETSY FOGELMAN TIGHE has published widely in small literary magazines, including The Georgia Review, Rattle, TriQuarterly (#74)—for which she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and Verseweavers (#14 and Fall 2015)—for which she was awarded third prize in the New Poets and first prize in the Dueling Judges categories, respectively—by the Oregon Poetry Association. In 2016, she was a semi-finalist for the Snake Nation Press Violet Reed Haas book prize. She serves as the teacher-librarian at Roosevelt High School, messes in her garden, and adores her own two young adult kiddos.
