BwP Book Club: Pretty Deadly: The Rat #1

Lucky for Kelly Sue and Emma, we at Books with Pictures have a huge amount of confidence in this book. The old Hollywood silent film aesthetic looks extraordinary, and DeConnick and Rios are both storytellers at the top of their game.
And lucky for US, they are supporting the book’s launch with materials for a monthly BOOK CLUB. There will be DISCUSSION GUIDES for each issue and previous volumes, prepared by Dr. Jeremy Stoll, Folklorist and Professor of Comics and Narrative Practice at Columbus College of Art and Design, goodies and shwag from the team, and if we’re lucky, a visit from Kelly Sue herself.
