Join us for a discussion with poet Janet McAdams.  She will discuss her anthologized poems published in New Poets of Native Nations.

Her poem “The Collectors,” which is excerpted in the anthology, was published in its entirety at StorySouth, as was “Ghazal of Body.”

Janet McAdams’ chapbook, Seven Boxes for the Country After, was published by Kent State University Press in 2015. She is the author of two other poetry books, Feral and The Island of Lost Luggage, which won the American Book Award, and a novel Red Weather. With Geary Hobson and Kathryn Walkiewicz, she co-edited the anthology, The People Who Stayed: Southeastern Indian Writing after Removal(Oklahoma, 2010). She is the founding editor of the Earthworks book series from Salt Publishing, U.K., which focuses on Indigenous poetry. A native of the U.S. Southeast, she lives in Ohio and teaches at Kenyon College.
