Exploring Our Inner Monsters
August 23, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
FreeExploring Our Inner Monsters:
So many times we talk about our interests and desires, but what if we took the time to discover our inner monsters? What does that monster eat and thrive off? Ever wonder if someone else shares the same monster? Through guided writing prompts and dialogue, we will attempt to normalize our monsters and create from the exploration. Each participant will make a mini zine by the end of the workshop.

Digital Adventures with Sunday Parkways & the IPRC!
This workshop is part of Portland Sunday Parkways schedule of Digital Adventures as a part of their “Choose Your Own Portland Adventure” summer programming. The IPRC is excited to partner with them for 6 months of free & by-donation workshops that center around the theme of love and resilience. Join us for a series of virtual programs that explore our relationships with the places, communities, and people we love, and how a variety of different creative practices can help us develop strength & self-love, and have fun making!
The 6 months will culminate in making a community zine! Each workshop will include inspiration to get you started, but whether you join us for them or not, we invite you to submit a zine page at any time during the project by emailing a digital copy to eao@iprc.org or mailing your work to 318 SE Main Street, Suite 155 Portland, OR 97214. ** The final submission deadline is September 30th, 2021. All participants will receive a digital and/or physical copy of the zine and will be invited to an online launch event in October. **
