First Thursday: Travelogue 2012-2016

FreeArmed with various cameras, multimedia artist Robert Porte spent four years exploring the highways and byways of Oregon’s coastal regions and Portland’s city streets. Porte paired each camera with films specific to each camera’s unique character in order to best capture what he sees – resulting in images that feel like lone highway markers or cairns.
