Geu-Ryuh Sketchbook Release Party w/ Jung Hu Lee
March 22, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeBridge City Comics is excited to announce our release party for local artist Jung Hu Lee’s newest sketchbook, Geu-ryuh on Friday, March 22, 2019 starting at 6pm! This event is free to the public.
Bridge City Comics will have copies of the Lee’s Geu-ryuh (which means “draw” in Korean) available for purchase at this event for cover price ($12)! Refreshments will be served free of charge.
Join us for a fun, free time to celebrate the artwork of a talented Portlander!
About Geu-ryuh:
This is a collection of drawings from life and photography from told magazines and travel done from 2016 to 2018. It was meant as one or two exercises using ink and pencil, but eventually became a weekly comfort focusing on detail and line and observation.
About Jung Hu Lee:
Jung is an artist/writer living in Portland, Oregon. He is originally from Washington D.C. and works at Oni Press. He’s awkward in public, and enjoys weird movies on Amazon Prime, and orders too much on Postmates. But as long as he gets his monthly whiskey with friends and gets to bed by midnight, everything is dope.
