This presentation is a part of the Just Off Site: Passages Bookshop Literary Festival. Translators of contemporary Brazilian poetry will present and discuss the ways in which translation serves as vehicles for literary, cultural, and transnational activism, examining the broader implications of the art of translation as its practice is embedded within social, cultural, political, and aesthetic matrices.
