View Venue Website, 1714 NE Broadway, Portland, OR 97232 + Google Map

We are thrilled to announce that Jacqueline Winspear will be returning to Broadway Books at 7 pm on Wednesday, April 10th, to read from the newest book in her Maisie Dobbs series, The American Agent! In this latest book — the fifteenth in the series — Maisie investigates the mysterious murder of an American war correspondent in London during the Blitz.

This is a ticketed event. The price of the ticket is $27.99, the price of The American Agent, and each attendee will receive a copy of the new book. To reserve a seat for this event, please put the ticket (not the book) in the shopping cart and pay for it online. Or, you are welcome to pay for your ticket in person in the store. Every event with Ms. Winspear has sold out, so don’t delay purchasing your ticket! You will not receive a physical ticket; your name will be on the attendee list at the door the night of the event. The book will publish on March 26th, so you can either come in early to pick up your book or you can pick it up at the reading.

Ms. Winspear has another book publishing this spring: What Would Maisie Do: Inspiration from the Pages of Maisie Dobbs ($17.99). This one-of-a-kind illustrated companion journal invites readers into Maisie’s world and shares her wisdom and inspiration. Anchored by thirty of Maisie’s most timeless quotes, coupled with Ms. Winspear’s inspiration for each nugget of wisdom, these reflections offer readers additional insight into the world of Maisie Dobbs and invite them to reflect on favorite moments and memories. The book also features the iconic jacket art that has graced the series, as well as period photographs and prompts for readers’ own observations and inspiration — making this a unique journal that fans will turn to and treasure for years to come. You are welcome to purchase this journal in addition to the new book; however, advance purchase of The American Agent is required to attend the reading. [Purchased tickets are non-refundable.]
