2019 Mark O. Hatfield Lecture Series Speakers:

Michael Beschloss – Presidents of War
Michael Beschloss is an award-winning historian, bestselling author of nine books, and has been a New York Times contributing columnist. He is the NBC News Presidential Historian and a contributor to the PBS NewsHour. His forthcoming book, Presidents of War, tells the epic story of all of the American Presidents who have waged our major wars. It took him ten years to write and research, and historian Jon Meacham says it is “a landmark book about power, leadership, and human nature itself.” He is an alumnus of Andover and Williams College and the Harvard Business School, where he studied leadership in both the private and public sectors.
