Canadian-American poet JAMES ARTHUR is the author of The Suicide’s Son (Véhicule Press 2019) and Charms Against Lightning (Copper Canyon Press, 2012.) His poems have also appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry, The New York Review of Books, The American Poetry Review, The New Republic, and The London Review of Books. He has received the Amy Lowell Travelling Poetry Scholarship, a Hodder Fellowship, a Stegner Fellowship, a Discovery/The Nation Prize, a Fulbright Scholarship to the Seamus Heaney Centre in Northern Ireland, and a Visiting Fellowship at the University of Oxford. Arthur lives in Baltimore, where he teaches in the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University.
ADÈLE BARCLAY’s writing has appeared in The Fiddlehead, The Pinch, The Puritan, PRISM international, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of the 2016 Lit POP Award for Poetry and the 2016 Walrus Readers’ Choice Award for Poetry. Her debut poetry collection, If I Were in a Cage I’d Reach Out for You, (Nightwood, 2016) was nominated for the 2015 Robert Kroetsch Award for Innovative Poetry and won the 2017 Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize. Her second collection of poetry, Renaissance Normcore, is forthcoming from Nightwood Editions in fall 2019. Adèle is Arc Magazine‘s Poet in Residence and an editor at Rahila’s Ghost Press. She lives on unceded Coast Salish territory/Vancouver, BC.
KEETJE KUIPERS is the author of three poetry collections: All Its Charms (BOA Editions, 2019); The Keys to the Jail (BOA Editions, 2014); and Beautiful in the Mouth (BOA Editions, 2010), winner of the A. Poulin, Jr. Poetry Prize. She has been a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, the Katharine Bakeless Nason Fellow in Poetry at Bread Loaf, the Emerging Writer Lecturer at Gettysburg College, and is also the recipient of fellowships from the Lucas Artist Residency, the Jentel Artist Residency Foundation, and the Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts, among others. She is a faculty member at the Hugo House in Seattle, Washington, and senior editor at Poetry Northwest. She lives on an island in the Salish Sea.
ASHLEY TOLIVER is the author of Spectra (Coffee House Press), a finalist for the 2018 Believer Book Awards. She teaches poetry at the The Attic Institute in southeast Portland and serves as poetry editor at Moss: A Journal of the Pacific Northwest. Her work has been supported by fellowships from Oregon Literary Arts, the Cave Canem Foundation, and the Academy of American Poets. She received her MFA from Brown University in 2013.
