Moving Here As Love: Making A Collaborative Zine About Becoming Love
June 21, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
FreeA Zine Workshop For You and Your Art Buddy About Becoming Love
In this class we will work together to make a zine about how to become love. What *is* love? How would “becoming love change” the way we move about this planet? Love without condition, without judgement. Love beyond even the concept of love, moving inside and as this love. We will work on a page or more while hanging out and then a quick tutorial on how to put all the pieces together, demonstrating Jesse’s method and touching on a couple of others (for fun).
Jesse will put all the pages together and make a cool little book and give participants access to it to share with friends and loved ones.
Materials Needed: 1-3 sheets of white 8.5″ x 11″ paper, your preferred drawing tools/collage supplies. Contact info@iprc.org at least a week ahead of the workshop if you need some supplies.
Join live on the Sunday Parkways Facebook page or join directly through Zoom HERE.

Digital Adventures with Sunday Parkways & the IPRC!
This workshop is part of Portland Sunday Parkways schedule of Digital Adventures as a part of their “Choose Your Own Portland Adventure” summer programming. The IPRC is excited to partner with them for 6 months of free & by-donation workshops that center around the theme of love and resilience. Join us for a series of virtual programs that explore our relationships with the places, communities, and people we love, and how a variety of different creative practices can help us develop strength & self-love, and have fun making!
The 6 months will culminate in making a community zine! Each workshop will include inspiration to get you started, but whether you join us for them or not, we invite you to submit a zine page at any time during the project by emailing a digital copy to eao@iprc.org or mailing your work to 318 SE Main Street, Suite 155 Portland, OR 97214. ** The final submission deadline is September 30th, 2021. All participants will receive a digital and/or physical copy of the zine and will be invited to an online launch event in October. **
