December’s featured reader is Ellen Michaelson. Ellen is the author of The Care of Strangers. She is a physician in Portland and an MFA graduate from Pacific University. She is currently an assistant professor of Medicine at OHSU and vice president of the board of the NW Narrative Medicine Collaborative. Her work has appeared in Creative Nonfiction, Portland Monthly, Women in Solitude (SUNY Press), and Literature in Medicine.
