IMPORTANT NOTE: Please bring a poem you have written and feel good about starting to edit. You don’t have to think it is good! Preferably, but not required, have it be a poem that is not super raw for you still, because that makes it easier to work on.
Risa Mykland (she/they) will be leading a workshop about common and unorthodox editing practices, including their personal method of editing poems for publication.
Come prepared with some way to take words down (ex. notebook + pen, phone notes app, laptop document), a piece that takes roughly three minutes or less to read, and your wonderful self.
