PSG: A Beautiful Girl, Her Prince (and that Step-mother!)

$10Sound Familiar? The fairy tale with the step sisters, the fancy dress ball, the fairy god-mother? And those slippers? A universal story, right?
Maybe not. Join members of the Portland Storytellers’ Guild for an around the world tour of this story from different cultures with so many nuanced differences. What – no slippers? Huh — no prince or fancy ball? Hey – what happened to the fairy god-mother?
Through it all, discover that in our many cultural differences, we have a lot more in common than we thought.
A half dozen storytellers bring you Cinderella in some of her many surprising guises from around the world. Join us for a fun frolic with an old/new friend. A virtual evening of tales Saturday, April 3 at 7pm PDT / 8pm MDT / 9pm CDT / 10pm EDT / 6pm AKDT. Register here — only $10 per computer connection; as many can watch as is socially-distanced-safe.
