If you’ve ever wondered:

What happens when towns tumble into uncertainty and despair?
Who are the real leaders we MUST know?
Where is America headed and who will be tomorrow’s change makers?

Don’t miss this this engaging and provocative evening. Carolyn will share vital lessons from her experiences while traveling solo, as a woman, 1 ½ times the circumference of the earth – almost all in rural America.

_____

Dismayed after a community dinner was canceled when liberals refused to talk with conservatives, Carolyn started going RURAL to find out what was going on in small communities across America. Instead of choosing her own destinations, she let high school students send her anywhere they wanted – places they felt we should know. Their choices were profound and spot on!!

She planned to be gone two months. Almost two years later she’s still on the road letting more and more strangers send her places seldom seen in the news.

Carolyn has been sent into reservations of the west, rural towns in the Deep South, border towns (Canada & Mexico), fishing villages along the NE Atlantic seaboard, and 4,850 feet under the earth where the largest open pit gold mine is now an international science lab.

Staying at length in dozens of rural towns, Carolyn met with over 500 innovators, small business owners, preachers, teachers, politicians, x-politicians, community planners, cowboys and magic makers.

Come hear about the leaders who face challenges few ever dream of and how they are bringing their towns back to life.
