$5It’s time for another Slamlandia house show – this time featuring the amazing Jaz Sufi and Brandon Melendez!
This show will be held at Pointy House (2930 SE Clay Street) on Saturday, August 24th. Show will be out in Pointy’s backyard (subject to move inside if weather is a problem (cause Portland) but highly doubtful that will be the case). Door opens & signups at 6:00pm, show starts at 6:30pm. Some snacks and drinks will be provided (on a donation basis) – feel free to bring your own as well!
***There will be a $5 required entry fee at the door***

Jaz Sufi is a mixed race Iranian-American poet and arts educator. Brandon Melendez is a Mexican-American poet from California. He is the author of ‘Gold That Frames The Mirror’ (Write Bloody 2019). Note of accessibility: This show will take place in a backyard – there is a paved path that leads into the space but otherwise it is primarily grass. There are two steps leading up to the little wooden porch where performances will take place. The bathroom is accessible on the first floor of the house – there are also two steps to get into the house. There will be space to sit on the grass or stand, but chairs will also be provided and given priority to those who need them.
