Editor Janna Lopez discusses the concept, curation process, and creative evolution of Sweet Dreams, Story Catcher: A Commemorative Collection of Portland Magazine essays by Brian Doyle. This stunning collection of author Brian Doyle’s work is complemented by exquisite artwork and published by University of Portland. This one-of-a-kind book created by Lopez and her team pays tribute to Doyle’s life and work through an intentionally-vetted selection of essays, and combined painted, photographic and illustrative artwork. Special guests will read aloud essays from this book.
