THINGS THAT GO Book Release Party

FreeJoin local poetry press, Octopus Books, in celebrating the official Portland release of their most recent title, Things That Go by Laura Eve Engel. Laura Eve will be joined by Rebecca Wadlinger, whose book of poems, Terror/Terrible/Terrific will be published by Octopus Books in December of 2019.
Admission is Free. Drinks are free. Snaxx are free. And you’re free to buy copies of Things That Go, and other books/stuff on the merch table. Bring a good attitude and few bucks for the happy jar.

LAURA EVE ENGEL is the recipient of fellowships from Provincetown Fine Arts Works Center, the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, and the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation. Her work has appeared in The Awl, Best American Poetry, Boston Review, Crazyhorse, Colorado Review, PEN America, Tin House, and elsewhere. She is in a band called The Old Year. Things That Go is her first book.
