Wordlights Poetry ft. Pamela K. Santos

On Saturday September 28th, we’ll have a feature from Pamela K. Santos, two mini-features from Michelle Ruiz Keil & Jennifer Dawson, and a short set poetry open mic!
OUR FEATURE: Pamela K. Santos
Pamela K. Santos is a writer and conceptual artist weaving multilingual narratives from diasporic lineages. A 2019 recipient of a Sustainable Arts Foundation award, Oregon Literary Fellowship, and Mineral School residency, her poetry appears in Tayo Magazine, Anomaly, Newtown Literary, Stoked Words, and the Unchaste Anthology. Pamela co-founded Portland’s Winter Poetry Festival (its second year coming this December). Michelle Ruiz Keil
Michelle Ruiz Keil is a Latinx author and playwright with an eye for the enchanted and a way with animals. She has been a fellow at the Squaw Valley Community of Writers and Lit Camp and studied at Hedgebrook with author Ruth Ozeki.
A native of the San Francisco Bay area, Michelle has worked as a nanny, bookseller, housecleaner, needle exchange provider, sex worker advocate, stay-at-home parent, and psychic friend. Her short fiction can be found in Cosmonauts Avenue (cosmonautsavenue.com/michelle-ruiz-keil-random-magick/) and the forthcoming anthology Color Outside The Lines. All of Us With Wings (amazon.com/Color-outside-Lines-Stories-about/dp/1641290463) is her first novel.

Jennifer Dawson
Jennifer Dawson is the author of Vagaries (2018), a self-released collection of poetry and prose. She is a Portland, Oregon native with a background in philosophy, critical theory, and media studies. Her work has also been published in Eratio, an online poetry journal.
