Writing Your Heart Wide Open: Winter Solstice Edition

December 15, 2018 @ 10:30 am - 6:00 pm

$175
,

You, whose heart sometimes aches in December. You, who longs for sacred winter rhythms: listen, write, dream, repeat. You who wishes not for hustle and bustle, but the soft hum of candlelit magic. You who welcomes dynamic stillness and knows that the bare bones of trees have gifts to bestow.

You’re invited.

A one-day writing retreat.

Small group.

Deep listening to/witnessing of each other.

Ritual as a way in and out, honoring in particular, the Winter Solstice.

Focus on crafting that particular story for which you need great courage (from the Latin “cor” – heart). Non-fiction, fiction, and form-defying feats of writing welcome.

Plenty of time to actually write, to deepen, to revise. To give full time and attention to fully realizing one piece of writing: for publishing, for relief, for the love of it. Your motivation. Your choice.

Breathers to share your words out loud, give them voice, and go back in.

Guidance in cracking your heart and your story wide open. To infuse your words with the fullness of your heart. The kind of fullness you hunger for when you read. The kind of fullness that already belongs to you, even if you’ve never learned how to let it loose.

Simple, direct facilitated feedback – not critique – to prompt you to get at the beating center, to breathe life into the bones of your story so that they can get up and dance.

Humor, kindness, and lunch, plus coffee, tea & snacks provided.

Sanctuary space held for you as you go.

You’re invited.

Registration: $175

PM me, and I’ll invoice you. After that, you’ll in-voice yourself and your story.
