Portland Story Theater’s workshop Crash Course in Storytelling is designed to give you a taste of the fabulous art form of storytelling in 3 hours. Interactive. Fast-paced. Fun! Everyone 18+ welcome, no experience necessary. As participants, you'll search your memory banks for the people, happenings and conflicts that sustain you day in and day out. We will explore the necessity of vulnerability in storytelling, as well as techniques for bringing your stories alive. Our approach teaches intentional storytelling when you trust the story and speak extemporaneously from the heart.
