Join us for another amazing poetry slam and open mic!!! This slam is the second of four qualifiers for our second semi-final to pick our team for next year! There is a 5 dollar suggested donation for this even but no one is turned away. We will have a feature performance from Doc Luben More about Doc: Doc Luben is the two time Portland Poetry Slam City Champion, and reached finals at the 2013 Individual World Poetry Slam. They have been a featured poet at diverse venues throughout North America, including the Denver ComicCon and Rose City ComicCon, NYC Urbana, California Institute Of The Arts, and the Denver Minor Disturbance poetry slam. We have had such an amazing, wonderful year and a half calling Guilder our home, and we are truly honored to have brought so much art into their beautiful, welcoming space. While it is bittersweet to say goodbye to such a terrific venue, we are excited for our last at Guilder hoorah with one last poetry open mic and slam. Come to our last Guilder show on Thursday, JUNE 6TH - featuring Portland's very own Doc Luben. Doors and sign-ups are at 6:00 PM Get there on time to get a spot in the open mic or slam!
