It's Indies First Day AND Small Business Saturday, and we are going to have so much fun!! We have more than a dozen local authors joining us. You'll be able to talk to them about their books and purchase signed or personalized books, as well as hear about what books they're particularly excited about giving and getting this holiday season. Jason Arias will be reading from the short story collection Momentary Illumination of Objects In Motion. This book tells stories of life and death, identity and race, change and resistance to change. Jason Arias' lives and works in Portland, OR. His writing has appeared in multiple magazines, anthologies, and Lidia Yuknavitch's The Misfit's Manifesto. His debut short story collection Momentary Illumination of Objects In Motion was released October 1st by Black Bomb Books. Sam Snoek-Brown will be reading from his story collection There Is No Other Way to Worship Them. It's an eerie, mesmerizing collection of short stories set in Mexico and Texas.
