Kids’ Storytime With Keith Negley

Powell's City of Books 1005 W Burnside Street, Portland, OR, United States

Today, author and illustrator Keith Negley joins us to read his new picture book, Mary Wears What She Wants (Balzer + Bray). Inspired by the true story of Mary Edwards Walker, a trailblazing doctor who was arrested many times for wearing pants, Negley’s fresh, charming picture book encourages readers to think for themselves while gently challenging gender and societal norms.
