Writer, performer and KMHD jazz radio host Lynn Darroch will join Portland Story Theater founders Lynne Duddy and Lawrence Howard for their 15th annual Valentine’s Day show, Kiss & Tell. This two-hour performance will include live music by jazz duo Rogéri, featuring Laurent Nickel on bass and Roger Paulson on piano, along with five true, personal stories by Eva Rotter-Johnson, Zahra Abukar, Ruiyuan Gao, Katie Morris-Henson, and Joan-Carrol Banks. Nansen of the North is the story of Fridtjof Nansen (1861-1930), a Norwegian explorer, scientist, diplomat, and humanitarian. Nansen's story caught the imagination of Portland Story Theater co-founder and creator of the Armchair Adventurer series, Lawrence Howard. For the first time, Lawrence is telling an epic tale of the Arctic.
