Join us for an evening of strangeness and magic as a group of writers in the fabulist vein read their work. The event will be punctuated by multiple raffle drawings. Books by authors will be available for purchase and signing. Floyd's Old Town Coffee and Tea presents: Intersections: Street Roots, Kimbilio Fiction, and Barrelhouse Come wind down after AWP with an offsite reading featuring the fiction and poetry of writers from: Kimbilio Fiction: extending, nurturing, and sustaining a community of writers from the African Diaspora Barrelhouse: non-profit litmag, small press, conference organizer, small grant maker, and purveyor of pop culture flotsam and jetsam and Street Roots: creating income opportunities for people experienceing homelessness and poverty by producing a newspaper and other media that are catalysts for individual and social change.
