AMA: Ask a Magazine Anything

Oregon Humanities 921 SW Washington St #150, Portland, OR, United States

What’s the editorial process like at a magazine? How do creators pitch and market their work? What do magazines pay? Ask these questions and any others on your mind over free snacks and drinks at this magazine mixer that brings together the staff at various Portland-based online and print publications. Writers, artists, and readers will mingle, snack, and chat one-on-one with people from the editorial teams at Oregon Humanities, The Nib, and Vortex Music Magazine and Catapult’s marketing team about the publishing process. This event will take place at the Oregon Humanities offices at 921 SW Washington St. Ste. 150—accessible entrance on SW 9th Ave. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
