Join us at Portland Burger for a reading (and karaoke) of authors published by Los Angeles-based Gold Line Press and Ricochet Editions, two small presses dedicated to publishing innovative, non-traditional, trans-genre and/or genre-less works. The two presses are run by students and alumni of the University of Southern California’s PhD Program in Creative Writing. Portland Burger is a family-run restaurant with beautiful murals and a guitar-shaped bar, offering a full bar and vegetarian options. We’ll review how submission works, how to research the literary magazines that might be a good fit for your work, and then, we’ll submit!
