Read alone, together. "I never have time to read." "There's too much to do at home." "I want to hang out with people, but I don't want to have to chat." Does this sound like something you'd say? If so, join us for a Silent Reading Party for an opportunity to read quietly in congenial company. The first 10 participants will get a copy of Americanah, Multnomah County Library's Everybody Reads 2019 book by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Copies of the book will also be available for purchase.
